Sometimes it gets inconvenient so I don’t just live for it. But most of the time, if you use your skills in the right arena, it can be fun! Trust me there is no better feeling than getting what you want for much less.
An effective negotiator can always find a way to save or make more money. Most sales transactions are based on negotiations; we don’t always realize it, though. In fact, the two most expensive items you buy are done with negotiation almost every time: your house and your automobile.
But you can negotiate more than you think if you apply simple techniques and want the deal done on your terms. Forget wanting the deal done; concentrate on the best deal overall and you will be more effective in negotiating.
